Sandra Schanding Obituary, Death – On Friday, December 15, 2023, Sandra “Sandy” Ellen Schanding, 75, passed away in her Villa Hills, Kentucky, home. Sandy retired from Traveler’s Insurance and Cincinnati Bell. She belonged to St. Anthony Parish in Taylor Mill, Kentucky and Covington Moose Lodge #1469. Sandy was the 2023 Moose of the Year and a master golfer. She liked organizing and attending moose gatherings.
Her first husband, Ronald Culyer, I., and father, Pearl Robinson, both died before she was even born. Apart from her spouse Gary Schanding, Sandy’s surviving family members include siblings Butch Callery, Brenda Culyer, and Rick Robinson; kids Ron Culyer, II, Shane Culyer, Mike Schanding, and Michelle McGaha; fourteen grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a close friend Kim Granneman, and several nieces and nephews.
On December 20, 2023, from 9:30 AM until the eulogy starts at 11:20 AM, there will be a viewing at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 485 Grand Avenue, Taylor Mill, KY 41015. There is a Christian Burial Mass at St. Anthony Church at 11:30 AM. Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Taylor Mill, Kentucky will host the funeral. Following Mass, there will be a Celebration of Life celebration at the Covington Moose Lodge #1469.
